Camborne is located in the western part of the main urban and industrial area in Cornwall. It’s growth in the late 18th and early 19th centuries was due to its central role in the Cornish tin and copper mining industry, transforming a small village into one of the richest mining areas in the world.
The parish church is dedicated to St Martin and St Meriadoc and is the place where several Grenfells have been Baptised (1819-1836) or Buried (1822-1836).
